OUR NEWRYBAR STORE OPENING
Surrounded by friends, family, dear customers, and co creators, we gathered to celebrate the opening of our Newrybar pop-up boutique. Set within the Old Pacific Building, it felt like a true pinch me moment.
Some of my happiest days have been spent wandering Newrybar’s quiet main street, this beautiful inland town, under the sun, amongst the trees. When my two boys, Oakie and Soli, were little, I’d bring them here to run around with the chickens, and we’d sit in for the sweetest storytime reading events. It was such a special place for me as a young mum and feels so sentimental.
This little town has quietly woven itself into my heart and the Oak Meadow story, its sun lit streets filled with flowers, its stillness, its charm. And nestled within it, the Old Pacific Building, a lovingly preserved timber homestead, home to makers and dreamers alike. Now I get to share a piece of that with you, whether you get to step inside or simply admire this charming world of Oak Meadow from afar.
Still feeling dream-filled from our recent Japan trip, where we shot our Pretty in Pink campaign, I came home with my heart full. With the help of my creative talented man Dan, we brought to life the Oak Meadow space I never imagined possible, through colour, charm, trinkets and the kind of wallpaper that always sparks “my grandmother had that”. Every part of this space holds something I’ve long dreamed of, now made real and inspired by all of the beautiful things I have experienced this year in my personal life and with Oak Meadow.
Our table was set a dream, adorned with the kind of food that looked almost too pretty to touch. From the swan cake, a sweet nod to our Pretty in Pink campaign shot on swan boats in Japan. lovingly crafted by @homealstonville — to the most beautiful platters curated by my dear friend Manu of @manusbangalowalimentari. A heartfelt thank you to the lovely team at @ink_gin who surprised us with everyone’s favourite gin. None of it would have come together without our Oak Meadow dream team, who brought each piece to life so gently and beautifully.
Every corner of the Old Pacific Building holds something special - thoughtfully adorned by the hands of the boutique owners who call this space home. It feels like stepping into a fairytale.
Only ten minutes from Byron Bay, Newrybar brings a slower rhythm, so serene, beautiful, and rich with charm. A little town full of soul and stories.
Every Oak Meadow guest was glowing each lit with a smile. The gentle reminder of why I began this journey in the first place.
These are the moments that bring me back to the heart of it all. I’ve always believed that we’re not just creating garments, but feelings — little pieces of happiness woven with care, made to embrace you just as you are. No overthinking, no effort just ease, joy, and beauty.
