OAK MEADOW RETURNS POLICY
As a small, independent brand, every piece we create is made with care, intention, and a focus on sustainability. Unlike larger corporations, we don’t mass-produce our collections or hold excess inventory. This allows us to stay thoughtful and responsible—but it also means we can’t absorb the costs associated with refunds.
By offering store credits, we’re able to maintain our commitment to creating high-quality pieces while still ensuring you have the flexibility to find something you love. Your understanding helps us grow, evolve, and continue crafting designs with purpose.
Our Store credits are valid for 1 year.
To be eligible for a store credit you must lodge a return within 10 days from receiving your parcel through our Lodge a Return page, anything outside our 10 day window will unfortunately not be accepted. All returns must be lodged within 10 business days and anything outside of this window will NOT be approved.
As a small business, Oak Meadow does not refund or cover exchanges, the customer must pay for the return postage on the item they are sending back and within Australia and world wide.
Please ensure you return your item using our Portal and your return is marked clearly with your order number # and full name on the front label. Please ensure all tags and packaging are intact on the garment. Any garments worn or marked or missing the tag will NOT qualify for a return. This item will be shipped back to you at the cost of the shipping.
Please note that earrings can NOT be returned or exchanged due to health and safety regulations, we will not make any exceptions, as this is to protect the health of our customers.
Faulty items
In the rare circumstance you have received a faulty garment, please contact us at customercare@oakmeadow.com.au within 10 days of delivery. Please include an image/video of the fault, your order number and any relevant information.
Once approved by our team, a replacement item will be offered. Should the replacement item be unavailable, a store credit or refund will be offered.
Sale items/ Discount codes
Any items purchased on sale or apart of a online sale are final sales and will NOT be approved for store credits, exchanges or refunds. All discount codes if not applied on original order are unable be applied after.
Cancellation of order
If your order has NOT left our warehouse studio we may be able to cancel an order due to circumstances. However if your order has shipped from our studio you will not be eligible for a cancellation and will only qualify for a store credit voucher.
$20 off Welcome code
If you forgot to apply your $20 off discount code on your order, the good news is you can still use it on your next purchase.Your code will be waiting for you when you’re ready to shop again—because everyone deserves a little something extra.
Oak Meadow will not refund the $20 discount to any placed orders or cancel any orders to reuse the $20 off discount.
Pre-orders
As a small, independent brand, every decision we make is intentional and rooted in creating the best possible experience for our customers. Pre-orders are an essential part of our process and due to many of our pre-order items are made-to-order. This means when you place your order, we’ve already started allocating materials and planning production specifically for you. Canceling at this stage impacts both our artisans and the supply chain therefore we don't allow cancellations on pre order items.
SHIPPING
We offer free EXPRESS shipping for all Australian & International orders over $350.
For international orders under $350 shipping is $29.95. Any taxes or duties incurred are the responsibility of the delivery recipient. If duties and not paid and the parcel is sent back to our studio you will be charged the cost of the delivery shipping fee and a store credit will be issued with the remainder balance. Please ensure you check your local duties and taxes % .
RETURNS PROCEDURE
Please submit your return to our Lodge a Return page and allow 48 hours for a response. We will provide you with a return postal address. Please consider using a shipping service with tracking for your returns, and consider the environment when choosing your returns satchel. Please clearly mark your shipping label with your full name and order number #.
DISPATCH AND DUTIES
Your Oak Meadow order will be dispatched within 48 hours; we are so excited for you to receive your special garments! Please allow a little extra shipping time for delivery to regional areas.
International delivery costs do not include any taxes or duties which may be applied by customs at the destination country. Any taxes or duties incurred are the responsibility of the delivery recipient.
Oak Meadow is required to declare the exact value of all items. For more information on taxes, duties and customs regulations, we recommend contacting your local customs office directly.
If the receiver refuses to pay the taxes and duties, the package will be returned to us and the customer will be issued a store credit once received, excluding the return and original shipping charges
Due to the high quantity of orders during online sales, please allow up to 3 business days for shipping.
